Leslie L. Armitage
Ms. Armitage is a co-founder of Relativity. She has nearly two decades of experience across all phases of the private equity transaction process, including sourcing, investing, managing and exiting investments.
Most recently Ms. Armitage was a Partner and Managing Director with The Carlyle Group, where she joined as an Analyst. During her fifteen year tenure at Carlyle, she was a key member of Carlyle’s preeminent aerospace and defense industry group, played a critical role in Carlyle’s first major international expansion--the formation of Carlyle Europe Partners, established and led the automotive investment group and served on the firm’s US Buyout Investment Committee.
Ms. Armitage earned a B.S. in Economics with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation. Ms. Armitage has served on more than ten corporate or non-profit boards and currently serves on the boards of Alion Science and Technology, MHF Services and Tactical Micro.
